17psi till 7k + exhaust cutout + AEM cold air here is what you can race!!!

Kinda off topic...

I thought the clutch was a wear and tear item and is not a warranty item?

depends ... if the clutch is completly worn out by 10,000 miles there's a problem. if you show up at the dealer with 80,000 miles they probably won't do anything

That's good to know.

On my MSP, they wouldn't help me out at all when I went in at 30K and the clutch was slipping.

where did you get the exhaust cutout? was it made custom or you bought it somewhere? how exactly do you switch from cutout to normal?

This is what I got with my purchase. The salesman told me this is the standard MS6 warranty. The clutch and the Hood/Door/Trunk alignment are 12K mile warranty and the rest of the car 50K or 5 years.

I like this cutout better - http://www.atpturbo.com/root/releases/release091004.htm, the motorized ones have a tiny exhaust leak because the motor never really seals the door shut.
I will probably be doing the ATP cutout and a stock exhaust so I can have it totally quiet and loud as hell when I want. I like the idea of a boost activated cutout as well due to increased torque below the boost curve.

no not really. the closest ones are about 45min to an 1h away!!! so i only go there when there is events like this i stay all day!! because during the week with the traffic and all forget about it.

Dude, it's worth it to drive the hour to get a proper 1/4 mile time. I do it every time I race.

the boost activate defets all the purpose of a cutout. the electric cutout is to not have noise on a regulare base . the cutout you are talking about will open eveytime u press the gaz and you have some boost. if your planning to get that just get a 3'' full exhaust it will be better!! the reason i installed the electrique one is because of the cops here , they stop us for muffler left and right. so with that i have no problem

Only problem is this...

The MAIN reason most people want a 3" turboback is because it makes boost come on earlier, this eliminates that as the exhaust is stock until the car reaches boost...

Great idea, but it definately has its downsides...

Well, then do it on a weekend. Show us what you're made of! Good luck.
