idk what to get i found a lot of really nice 17" rims does anyone have pics of there mp3 with 17's or 16s thanks

get 17's. 16's will look small on an mp3.

16's look fine. Protege's are all the same, so saying they will look small on an MP3 doesn't make sense. I've seen plenty of p5's and MSPs (which are essentially exactly the same aesthetically speaking) that look good with 16's.
One of the best looking BJ's on these forums rocks 16's!

These are 16's:

Just a matter of knowing fitment...

BTW, every mp3 has 17's from the factory. So I'm not sure why you would need pics of an MP3 with 17's. Should be pretty damn easy to find. Just look at mine, lol. Or anyone else with MP3 oem wheels.

the mp3 came stock with 17's, so those would be best. all ES's and protege5's came with 16's, so those also look fine. go with whatever you want.

you may also want to consider that 16's will not clear a big brake kit should you wish to eventually upgrade to that at a later point...

Lol, he doesn't need bigger brakes unless he does a lot more upgrades to drivetrain and motor, etc. My factory brakes lock up Z rated 225/45/R17 summer tires. So obviously it's ample braking power. It would be much more worthwhile to upgrade to slotted/drilled rotors and SS brake lines to increase braking efficiency and keep brake temps down.

Besides you can upgrade to MSP brakes and still easily fit them in a 16" wheel!

MSP brakes will even fit under some 15's
