15" on a PR5?

Since when? Everyone who's weighed the stock Protege5 rims before came up with around 16 lbs.
The Mazdaspeed and MP3 rims are more like 24 lbs.

I'm only quoting what the link says.

slips

Here's my slipstreams, 15 inch. Pics aren't great but you get the idea. I would like to see someone get Rota's Circuit 10 in sports bronze. They have them in 16X7 inch with a 45 offset, perfect for our car.

again flannelboy go to machiii.net and I believe the slipstreams they have available in our pattern (5 by 114.3) are 15*6.5 not 15*7. So get them and good luck they strong rims ( i used to have them on my civic)...and light..
by the way have you lowered your car?

im gonna get my wheels and either eibach or tein springs, not sure which for xmas.

what are the differences b/w the 15x7 and 15x6.5? And i'm not only talking abou tthe .5" difference

It really depends on the size of tire you want to put on it. Use the width that best fits the tire.

Laagernaught i've said it before and ill say it again
i love ur p5 with the slips ...especially in 15's!
HMMm
cheap light and sleek
I wonder if the Eibach PRokit will fill up the gap btwn a 15in set up..? anyone have taht set up

205/50/15 probably since that's the only azenis sze in 15"
it will fit both 15x6.5 and 15x7

205/50/15 is too small for a Protege5 for street use. You'll be better off finding something in 205/55/15.
( The new Kumho MX is at least as good as the Azenis, and the new Yokohama AVS is supposed to be nice too. )

For a 205 tire, it will fit nicest on a 7" rim, especially if it is 205/50. But for 205/55 it won't matter too much either way (6.5 or 7.0) but don't go skinnier than 6.5.

I've got 15" wheels from a 929 mounted on my P5 for winter... Running 195/60R15 Toyo Observe G-03's. I think they look pretty neat. =) I'll take a pic when I get home. 14" would barely fit, but the 15" wheel gives a little more clearance to the caliper, and gives ample width and height for the winter. Width is important with good snow tires, too. ;)

14's fit fine for winter. What I meant about being too small was that the overall diameter of the tire would be too small, not the rim itself.

Here's a pic of my car with the 15" 929 rims on it... I weighed the rims before I got the tires mounted and balanced, and they weighed in at about 12.5lbs. =) Enjoy!
