Allright guys, get in line...I saw this ad and the guy claims that the manufacturer of this muffler tested this beast on the car and got 12 hp added!!!

That's similar to the one I want to buy, but doesn't claim 12 horsepower though. It's probably one of the cheaper ways to go.

the day a muffler for a NA, relativley low compression 2.0 liter 4 cylinder engine adds 12hp, we should have the technology to cure cancer and end world hunger.

It certainly does, we have dynos on here that show a 9hp gain with intake and exhaust.
but not all "racing" mufflers do anything...dont see a dyno, dont buy....

I would assume about the same as with the mazdaspeed and intake....i'll find the thread for you (it's my job)......
here we go
the mazdaspeed will not give the same gains as that apexi with larger piping. My earlier figure of 9 was way off. It looks like about 4WHP for both mods
expect at least 4, maybe 5 or 6 with the Apexi, Injen, and piping.
