I told you guys I was gonna do it. Mods are test pipe, spectra short ram intake, forge mbc 18psi. Thats it. Car is otherwise stock. I was on m@h 24.5x8.5x15 inch slicks mounted on trak light 15x7 wheel with h@r 1 1/2 inch spacer. Ill post pics tonight. I had a total of 4 runs. The first two were 1/8th mile only and the second two were 1/4. My first quarter mile pass has a 1.870 60ft. and I ran a 13.0@106. So close, next pass same exact 60ft. and I ran a 12.93@ 105.88. I was so stoked. I was running 14psi in the slicks thats why the 60fts were not 1.7s. Next week I plan on running 11psi in them and shooting for 12.7s. Overall Im very happy running these times with so few mods. Here are the slips , though they are hard to see. But I figured I better show proof for the haters. LOL Enjoy. Pics will be up soon.

Those have to be the best numbers Ive seen..Nice job.I wish you had a video of the runs to see the launch. Also what RPMs are you switching gears @?

yay, so a mbc is well worth it. Gread time, congrats ont he 12s, ill be going for 13.4 @ 106ish but im without slicks....stock tires ftl

i would like to see how the 15" rims look. i was going to go with 16's to avoid the spacers.
come on stand back ........ i know i can go mid 12's after seeing this !!

mid 12s will come easy. Once i do a downpipe, 20psi of boost and some race gas. 12.5@ 108-109 no problem. its all in the 60ft. Im gonna run 11psi in the slicks next time and hit some 1.7s. Ive cut 1.66 in my old srt at 10psi on 24 inch slicks.

nice runs man!! i posted a link on the cali forum ....excellent driving! the 1.8 60 ft feels awsome doesn't it!!!!???!?!?!? I ran 1 run with a 1.8 60 in my eclipse and it felt like it was going to push my head through the back of the seat...Did you get any vids of it by chance?

I went to dragtimes.com to see what it would take to get a WRX, WRX STi, or Mitsubishi Evo to run those times or close to those times.

the sti and the evo can run in the 12's with minor mods, esp. the evo, as well but take a very good driver. The wrx's that you posted have the sti turbo as well.

but i say that the new minor mod king is the ms3.

+1
im surprised to see this

shows how much of a difference good driving is, I bet there are people with twice as many mods that cant run with your car.

20 psi is wayy to much on this turbo. over 18 psi you lose power due to the excessive heat. unless you have meth injection.
