-10 seems to be about the limit for my MSP

The dried up salt around here makes the road slick when you corner fast- it puts a fine grit over the road. Good for drifting.

Oh, yeah, I had an ADD moment and forgot what I was getting at with the salt thing-

The salt is cool because it is like driving on dirt roads. It is consistently everywhere right now, which makes it more predictable and less deadly-slippery than ice. Making use of the MSP's awesome tendency to oversteer makes driving these roads a true pleasure. Plus you feel cool when you spin the tires shifting into third!

Hey Paul, you're local. Cool. Ever have your car in downtown boston? I saw a silver MSP downtown a couple weeks back.

My car starts fine in this weather. I use synthetic oil and my battery is one year old. I have a remote starter and let the car run for 10 mins before driving. The clutch is pretty much set after that. If I drive before that, it is tough and does not seem to engage easily, along with the brakes. This is when the temps are below zero. Was -10 this morning and the car actually ran pretty good after running for 15 mins. It hurts my milage when letting the car run every morning to warm-up. I have been averaging 22 MPG when letting the car warm up every morning vs. 25-26 when taking off right after starting the car up. THis is for my average weekly driving.

paul, you are local to me. (worcester)

Hey fellow massholes! This state really does kick ass, doesn't it?

I haven't taken my car into Boston yet (luckily for it), but I'm sure I'll end up there in the near future. Silver seems to be a relatively rare color for the MSP. I don't know if I've even seen any pics of other silver ones...

I haven't seen more than 2 or 3 MSPs total in Mass.

Lexington and Worcester are both a stone's throw away from Marlborough. Maybe we ought to get something together at NEDyno in Worcester one of these days.
