10 or more characters needed to post?

Anyone else notice this? I tried to reply with nothing but a stick-poke(poke), but it wouldn't let me. It told me I need at least 10 characters to post a reply.
Any way to fix this?

Is a post with just a (poke) really necessary? If something is funny, we don't need a (lol) from everyone that read it. If you have something to add, then add it...otherwise move on.

If you really want to, you can put a whole bunch of ______ or maybe spaces would work.
But I do agree with the others. Those pointless posts are annoying.

Yes, it sometimes IS necessary. Like right now. (poke)

Now move on.

but it gets old.

As I stated in another thread, the 10charcter limit is the default setting for VB 3.0, and I think the admin went ahead and stuck with this policy to try it out. In practice, it gets annoying. In general, people don't make TOO many short posts that aren't necessary. ;)

I found that this works (quote to see) :

:) .

Put a few spaces and a period after. ;)
