10 Degrees this morning - Bad noises coming from car!

The bad noises you'd hear from my car at ten degrees would be ME, bitchin' 'bout how cold it was!!!!

Simple fix to your noises and everyone elses, just swerve back and forth to warm up the suspension and the tires that way it won't creak or rattle or any of that good stuff, that's what I do while leaving the neighborhood and I don't get any noises when it's below 30 anymore. Just think of yourself as a NASCAR driver...ahahah Works for me.

I have a video documenting the noise to show my dealer since I get the "could not duplicate" answer often. I will upload it and post the link.

im not sure because im from charlton. need something to be responded to? got two of us right here. lol.

i thought it was come tire rubbage. then when the suspension warmed up and such it settled in and started "to work"

I see speeds all over the 495 and east area and no one is on there. There's a sightings in MA thread in the NEPOC area but some of you have responded. No biggie.

heres a quick update. the dealer i live y...a mechanic there owns a cosmic blue. i see a lack one going southbound on 395 everyday basically from work. and white one once going north on 290. and a red one with ugly rims owned by some young kid at the shell station right by centerfolds in oxford/charlton area. and me. the best looking speed3 in MA. lol.

I used to live in Grand Forks, ND (military - not my choice ) and there were weeks on end where it never got above -10 degrees F ambient (I've felt -60F which doesn't feel good at all). Talk about cars making funny noises. They don't even want to run at those temps. That's where you want to use a 0W-30 oil.

Aww man...the Forks blows. I hate the bug season up there with all the misquitos. Atleast your weren't at Minot.


As for noises, I have only experienced the windshield creak as it hasn't dropped below 40*F here in Las Vegas yet. This sunday shall change things tho.

Funny, my Protege5 sounded like that any time it was even slightly cold.

My MS3 doesn't make any crunching noises. Don't ask about the interior rattles though!
