Okay. Does anyone have a prob with their Speed3 wanting to spin the front tires way too often then the Turbo starts to kick in? I'm not hitting it hard at all.

Just so you know, it has nothing to do with it being a '10 or '11. We have the same motor...and drivetrain, and a lot of other similarities. Anyway, sure, it's pretty easy to spin in 1st gear. Maybe you have bad tires, though.

Maybe better tires than stock? Don't they have a torque management in the first two gears from the factory?

I was not hitting that gas that hard. She just loves to fly. I guess I just need to lower the car down.

Wider rims and stickier tires. If you think it's bad on a stock tune, wait till you get a Accessport and it takes off the torque limiter on the first three gears

Nah. I like how it takes off. I just need to find a way to make the tires stick a little better. The people that drive, on the roads here in the Valley, really suck. A vast amount of them do not even have insurance. I wish DPS would force every single driver, in the state of Texas, drive the DPS Agents for an evaluation every 5 years.

Lowering the car will not help with straight line traction. Not much, at least. What you need are some stiffer motor mounts, for one thing...and yeah, if you think your car is remotely fast, you need to drive in rgz's or Matt's, or mine.

Well, I know mine is quick. I have no idea what it will do in the 1/4 since I could care less about doing that type of track. I just not take much for the front tires to spin on my car.

As for meeting up with you guys, I do not know when I will be going back up to the ranch. I wish to go up there next week so I can get some things from XPEL. Next weekend, the Porsche Club will have their monthly road racing event at the Cameron County Airport, if anyone is interested. Here is a link to the website:

BTW - I only run my car during the parade laps at lunch time. Too many people will be coming after me if I were to get back into raching due to having this happen back in 2001.
