The 323's only come with 1.6 sohc motors in the US , and Puerto Rico. Only ones withthe 1.8's is the GTX(180hp)/GTR(210hp) and they are onlycold overseas.

Actually the 1.8L BP 323 GTX was sold in the states. They were sold only for two years before they dropped the 323 to go with the protege. I had one. It was AWD and turbo

my transmission + rev limiter won't let me go to 145mph.

trans is stock 1st and 2nd gear.

3rd and 4th gear are different.

Stock trans gearing will make our cars end the 1/4 mile in 5th gear

Nyet, Comrade. The U.S. only got the BFMR-body GTX from 1988-1989. The BG-body (1990 - ??) GTX was never offered to the U.S.
