1.6 engine swap out

Boost is the way to go. No intake is worth the money or effort for the 1.6L. I'll say that i didn't know that the 1.6 is the "preferred" engine for boost. At least I have something to hope for when I get out of school to work on.
If I were you, I would save up, put up with the Auto (like what i am doing) and when you are ready, drop the turbo and change the transmission. I think, it will be worth the wait.

has anyone swapped their 1.6 for a mazdaspeed protege engine? i was thinking about swapping my 1.6 for a mazdaspeed engine. i went to a local mazda recycling and they told me that they had a mazdaspeed engine for 3 grand....isn't that about the same price as the hiboost kit? anyways, its just a thought, i don't think i am going to swap anytime soon.

well i got my hiboost kit!!

just waiting to have a bit of time to go and install it i coneected the haltech changed my valve body to the lentech streeet termiantor and installed the intercooler just need a bit work on the down pipe and the blow off vavle make a base and some soldering also ill get soon the pics when iam finished and tell u the results.
