0wned: Skate board Trick

man, i had something like that happen to me on my bike, i know what is like, i now have 2 screws in my arm holding it together (owned)

God, looks so familiar. Only mine involved a picnic table down 5 stairs, and me falling back onto my arm and landing on top of it compressing it when it broke too. Those that know me have probably seen the scars and stuff.

I win, 2 plates and 14 screw in my arm.

(lol)That is awesome. He didn't even get close to getting on that rail. And the way that he bailed... what a dumbass. It's good that he got hurt now because that guy has no business trying to do s*** like that on a skateboard. Too many kids grab a board and try to do hard tricks before learning the feel of it, and this is what happens. Stuff like this is why parents hate it when their kids start to skate.

hahahahah that was great, i love when his friend tells him to "push it back", what a bunch of tards. He tries to push it back in and cracks it even more, mwhahaha.

Have you ever skated a day in your life? Sometimes you just come up short on stuff, could be because your tired, or just out of it, and this time he got worked. Sometimes when you fall you just loose your sense of where the ground is, and just stick an arm out hoping to find the ground, thats what happend to me after my kingpin dug into the plastic of the table and sent me to the ground. If you were anything resembling a skateboarder, you wouldn't enjoy watching some kid break his arm, you don't know, that kid could be good, and just had an off day. Go back to playing tony hawk pro skater please, and leave skateboarding to skateboarders.

Haha, I thought out of all the people posting in this thread that you would agree here. Did you even watch the vid??? He never even tried to commit to the trick... and he did not need to fall on his arm like that. Then his retarded friend tells him to try to fix his broken arm by bending it back.

I started skateboarding when I was 10. I have had 4 amateur sponsors here in NM... never went pro, but those guys are just crazy as I'm sure you know. I know all about having a bad day, but those guys were just stupid. The filming, the spot they were skating, and the kids lack of ability to even ollie off the ramp show me that he shouldn't have been trying that.

I wasn't trying to offend any fellow skateboarders, but lately I see a lot of kids try s*** only to be cool in front of the camera. Skating within your ability while still pushing yourself to have fun is the key. Too many of these kids think that they can just do s*** like that without knowing what to expect.

Sorry man... like I said, I wasn't tying to offend anyone. I just didn't think that kid should be doing that in the first place.

let them do what they want, vid's that they make are halarious. I can't get over the part where his friend tells him to bend his arm back, wtf was he thinking? That probably made the break 10 times worse trying to bend it back like that.

:wtf: This has started to bother me more since I first replied. You had no reason to come out and attack me like that. You don't know what I have done on a skateboard, so please don't make comments like that. I think that fellow skateboarders are some of the best people I have met, so don't go slamming someone that might share a lot of your viewpoints.

Oh s***! Oh s***! Oh s***! Oh s***! Oh s***! Oh s***! Oh s***! Oh s***! Oh s***! Oh s***! Oh s***! Oh s***! Oh s***! Oh s***! Oh s***! Oh s***! Oh s***! Oh s***! Oh s***! Oh s***! Oh s***! Oh s***! It just pissed me off when people that could possiblly never picked up a skateboard in their life start telling kids what to do. You seriously dont know though, sometimes you just half attempt something, and then eat s*** for it, I'm sure thats happend to you before. This kid just paid for it. He did get up near the rail though, just missed the crook and when he fell he just went over the rail and probably lost his sense of direction and then just ate it. His friends are dumbasses though, telling him to bend it back.

hrmmm...

It didn't even look like he was trying the crooks. I thought he was trying to NS and just never commited. You have to admit though, he didn't take that fall well at all. I'm not saying that it never happens to people that know what they are doing, but the majority of the time you can tell how experienced someone is by the way they take their falls. I learned early not to put my hands down like that, and to take the fall with your body and roll out if you can. My friend Ryan was the master at rolling out (he looked like a bowling ball sometimes when he wrecked going fast(lol)), and he never injured himself badly in the 6 years that I skated with him.

I will agree though that *sometimes* s*** does just happen, not with this kid, but in general yes. My friend Erik who is one of the best I have ever seen destroyed his foot coming out of a b/s tailslide down a 7 stair rail. He had it perfectly coming off the rail and then landed primo on his left foot only. His left foot broke in 8 places, and he never was quite the same again. He only skates mini now:(.
