07 3 Headlight Issue

GF's 3 had the passenger low beam out. Standard bulbs.

What I found was the whole thing got corroded. So bad the connectors in the harness were not salvageable. I also believe the bulb holder is suspect because after I rigged something for temporary use, the light still won't come on all the time yet there's voltage at the terminals.

But the thing that confuses me is the parts diagram lists the holder as 51-034B yet the part to be ordered is B28V-51-0A3.

The other thing I haven't been able to find is a replacement for the harness end, or at least the connectors inside it. It's not an H7 as the blades on the holder are wider than that.

Anyone know what that part that is or what the spec on the connectors is so I can order them? Also, can someone confirm the correct part number for the holder and suggest a good place to get them? The buy mazda parts is just what came up in a search, I've also found it on RockAuto, I think, (DORMAN Part # 645540). I've never dealt with either of them.

^^ I can never remember what the actual plugs on the harness are but you're correct that they're not H7. You need them to match the spacer that the actual lamp plugs into.
