03 turbo protege EGR fit 02 p5?

just want to confirm that the 03 egr with the shield will work on my 02 p5. dont want to mess around with the canadian version as my car is on its last legs.

also does anyone know what the difference between the standard motor t-series (cheaper) and the non t-series?
