Just thought i would throw this out there, If it doesnt sell by january 1st the price goes up $200 and will go up $200 for each additional month.. Not trying to be a jerk, but i am only willing to loose so much money on it!

Thats a dirty interior for a 24K car, wow...

Why dont u keep it in that garage behind the car? just curious.

You must be talking about the floor mat, and the papers on the passenger side floor? The reason it looks like that is when it broke i had to push it onto a trailer and climb out of it, then back into it to get it off the trailer, When the trailer was dirty. The doors wouldnt open on the trailer. I would have taken pictures after i got it vacuumed up, but is snowed 4 inches before that happend! If you read through all my post, you will also see i have 2 1962 galaxie's in the garage, and to me there alittle more important than an 03 mazda that isnt prone to rusting out! It is only snow you know right? We dont have acid snow its just regular Snow!!!

I guess what i am saying is if you dont have anything nice to say then STFU! I am also trying to say if running a vacuum cleaner scares you then you should by no means buy it cause the tranny is going to take more work than vacuuming the inside! I can almost guarantee that it is cleaner and nicer with lower miles than 99% of the cars on this board, and i am sure daedalus would agree!

Nope, 2 seater wouldnt do me any good i have 2 kids and are married.

If i do any sort of trade the only way i will do it is if i get cash along with a trade, And obviously trade wise my cars value changes.. I would rather just have the cash, thats why its priced the way it is.

Had to ask! Good luck with the sale!

Well I was interested, but not anymore if u are going to be an ass. I said I was just curious about the interior and why u dont keep it in the shop thats all. I am not afraid of a vacuum, I detail cars on the side, so no big deal if its dirty. And I was not afraid of the tranny issue either, but forget that...

You will never sell it if you tell people to "STFU" thats for sure...

Why dont you Re-read that! There isnt anything nice about posting that. You said you were curious at to why its not in the garage, not about the interior comment! You could have simply pm'd me about it.

Anyone have a ball park figure of how much it would cost to fix the transmission or buy the correct one? Just curious

you can fix the tranny with Gtx gears for around $500 You can buy a used tranny swap the LSD and cryotreat the gears for about that too.

I'm guessing that a decent tranny that could withstand the force of this beast is going to go for between $2500 and 5000 depending on the LSD and installation cost. Still a very good deal and you can even finance this car with a bank due to the low miles/condition.

The LSD isn't damaged or bad... if you want it to hold the power just take it out and have you local welder weld it for 50 bucks as most others on this forum have.

500 bucks for gtx gears and you're set. That was my only build plan for the tranny when I owned the car. GTX + Welded Diff = 350-400whp capable. Anyone who wants more than that in one of these cars is in desperate need of a thorzine drip.

^ yea, willkill was running a welded lsd with gtx gears. He had 2 dyno pulls at 400+ whp and they held up just fine.

There you have it! $600 and your labor and your back on the road!

I hate to break it to you but GTX gears MIGHT? work. Tom here in minnesota shredded his gtx gears to raw nothing with 301 wheel hp. and he also had the welded LSD (which did hold up). I think if you really want to be confident you have to go further with a custom built/cryo treated/etc trans. plain and simple. This car is only $9000 bucks! the expensive transmission is worth every penny and it will save you a lot of hassle.

yea for the cost of the tranny you are still picking this car up for how much these cars usually go for used at STOCK kelly blue book value

its a steal of a deal
