kind of teeing off this thread but i'm also looking to do a HKS SSQV in the near future and need to get hard pipes.. are they really all ~$300??? seems expensive. And is the black HKS SSQV a replica/knockoff or will it work/sound the same?

I have this A'pexi turbo timer and haven't tried to install yet but i'm wanting it to go as smoothly as possible. Would these instructions be the same on a 03 MSP as the MS3? I haven't been able to find a write up on this exact timer with the MSP.. all mix and match with different timers or...

Received the turbo (last week) also fast shipment, thank you. I have one question though, and it may be an obvious answer, but is the turbine outlet supposed to have 4 studs and a hole on the flange? or should there be 5 studs or maybe 5 holes.. I just want to make sure I have everything ready...

which emblems have the locator holes? i don't want to take those ones off lol.. the "protege" and "mazdaspeed" shouldn't i don't think. But i could see the M emblem having it... hmm

same here.. mine has a weird rusty yellow look and i also can't decide if i want to completely debadge. Thought about ordering a "turbo" emblem in cursive from ebay or something but it would be easier just to debadge lol..

The turbo has 2 small cracks (not sure exactly what part of the turbo it was but the mechanic showed me.) Changing coils and plugs tonight and got a turbo on the way (purchased from scratchnsniff) and also ordered the wga from ATP so hopefully the MSP will be on the road after all these repairs..

I believe you guys that the bulb is 194, especially if you've used them with success but why does Sylvania's website show 3652 for the license plate and the rear side marker is the 194? Just curious.

Thank you MX5RACER I'll definitely look into that because it really doesn't seem like it's a bad turbo the way it's acting. That's just what I was told but I think they jumped to a conclusion on it, which is why I bought it for what I feel like was a pretty good deal, knowing it needed fixed.
