Welcome! If you're into modding, it gets a lot better. The motor is very capable of making great power without being built. If you have any questions, let us know. We know this platform like the back of our hand and have a lot of experience with it. Most of all, have fun with it!

To be honest, it's probably normal. I wouldn't worry too much. Some clunking is pretty normal in manuals. If it's causing driveability issues, you need to take it to the dealer.

You'll be fine, you won't blow anything up. My suggestions for next mods would be rear mount, Cobb AccessPort, fuel pump internals, downpipe - in that order. You'll love your car a lot more than you do now!!! Please let us know if you have any other questions!

These mods should not cause ECU issues. Like previously posted, need more explanation on the sounds. Where is the knock coming from, how loud, is it dependent on RPM, etc?

You can make 350whp just fine on stock motor. We have had 3 cars here that have all gotten this easily. A little e85 mix with 91/93 (whatever is in your area) or methanol injection will allow for more and safer power. The key is the tune. As long as it is tuned correctly, you can have...

This is absolutely fine. You might experience some popping from the exhaust but not a big deal. You can throw this on without worries. Just make sure it's bolted on tight so no boost leaks.

That Ultimate Racing exhaust sounds like what you described. This is with a catted downpipe and big turbo but you get the idea. If I had to guess, Cobb wouldn't make their exhaust sound anything close to this aggressive. They like it quieter and smoother. You won't know about any Cobb...

Welcome and thanks for your service!! There's lots of options available for you. Rear motor mount, short ram intake, and inlet pipe are common first 3 mods and for good reason. We have a pretty big selection so check us out if you'd like. We are here to help understand the car, what works...

Ya the -55 probably doesn't exist on a 7 inch wheel and if it did, it would probably be for some crazy application. Ya you can use some spacers to push out those wheels, maybe a 10-15mm spacer to be safe but I vote to go for a wider wheel. But I get picking up a set of inexpensive used...

You mean the thread where you saw the wheels you're looking at? A -55 would be way to far out, past the fender.

It's somewhere around there. I can't remember exactly. If you take the same width wheel or smaller and use a larger offset, you'll end up taking the whole wheel and moving it closer inside the wheel well. If you take offset out of it, you'll push it out. So a 17x7 wheel with a +35mm offset...

Fuel pump is VERY important to keep track of and upgrade if you're modding the DISI. AccessPort is the best tool to tune and monitor. I just mentioned the 2 most important mods on this car hands down. Maybe not in any specific order but they are most needed/useful.
