Thats only if you had a minidisc or mp3 player installed, it scrolls the text of the song and allows you to edit. Otherwise, it doesn't do anything cept display how many discs are in your 6-cd changer.

Well most of the places like jiffy lube and merchants do not have the mazda filters, and then again, from the reaction I got from most people, its not a good idea to go there anyway. So check your local dealership or where you got the car for oil-change specials... My dealership is offering...

I agree. That lil plate in the middle of the grill is the worse design i've ever seen. They should fire their design engineers.

What are your thoughts? I know the Spec-V is a better car in performance but overall I think Mazda 3s has better features/options.

Yeah somehow I don't believe you.

My dealer tried to get me to pay a $100 dealer processing fee and I said, "Look i want the car for $20,800, and if you aren't gonna include that in the price, then forget it", and he basically ate the 100. The thing is I didn't finance so I'm not sure on those other fees.

I love the GPS unit the only thing is, I wish the darn thing had a mini keyboard or touch-screen... It makes programming it in a pain in the butt, sometimes the enter key doesn't register and I gotta keep hitting it...

I went for the 4-door instead of the 5 because i think it looks too long as a 5-door. It almost looks like a wagon. The front design is also different than the sedan. IMHO sedan looks more sexy (naughty)

Check out the pics on the 2nd page of my page. I didn't notice any lights on the steering wheel at all. The car is sitting in park with all lights on... so i dunno.

Maybe its only a feature on the 5-door?

Actually I don't think the steering wheel lights up at all. Those buttons don't have lights in them. I drove my Mazda3 a few times at night and never noticed them on.. i dunno maybe i'm wrong.

I was wondering for those people that got cloth instead of leather... are your seats comfortable? I'm sitting in the leather and it feels like i'm sitting on a wooden chair. Maybe theres a break-in period for leather? heh.

Hey what oil filter did you use? And what tool did you use to get the filter off? I thought the manual said you needed a special wrench or something. If its too much trouble i'll just take it to the jiffylub and have them take care of it at 600miles.

Go to Edmunds.com for a comparison. You can get info on the invoice compared to the MSRP, also a TMV. Your specific model was invoiced at $18,118. So you are roughly paying 600 over invoice. That is not a bad deal, I've seen them come as close as invoice for the car but hey, results will...
