Been busy lately and havn't been on here in a week or so. The tires just barely touched the edge of the fender lip. Like so lightly that it would just rub the tire dressing off the tire and make a dull line around it on the sidewall. I trimmed about a 1/4" off the lip and painted the edge...

Thanks. The wheels are 18 x 7.5's. I've got 215/35's on it for tires. They look real fat in it because of the offset mainly, 42 mm. I didn't measure, but I don't think It went down a whole 2 inches. I know it went at least 1.25-1.5. There was a boat load of wheel well gap before I did it.

I bought mine last year from the Mazda dealer with 6,000 miles on it in perfect condition for $16,950. Pretty good, huh? I'd say his deal is pretty darn good considering it is a no mileage car and the roof (which I didn't know was an option on a MP3) is probably at least $700-$800. Interesting.
