I didn't like the blue until now. It usually looks more turquoise, but your pictures make it seem much more of a true vibrant blue (almost electric). Nice car, congrats on the purchase!

To me, it seems silly not to spend the bit extra and pop for the Touring model (if for nothing else than the schnazzy seats, slick alloy wheels and convenience of cruise control). I've got my eye on a manual touring as well and they are also hard to find here in AZ, most all are automatics...

I noticed the same thing when viewing the inventory on the dealer's websites. I just figured there were so many automatics because people didn't want the sticks and the dealers only ordered automatics. Now I see that it is probably the exact opposite! haha

Nice, nice, and NICE. I'm looking at the manual touring myself too but I've always driven automatics. I'm just turned off by the seemingly out-dated 4-speed auto, but I still have to test drive this little sucker, so we'll see. Glad to hear there are still good deals to be had on this thing...

I'm absolutely not a master of the stick, but this is what I was taught: Slowly press the gas pedal as you slowly release the clutch. As soon as the car starts moving forward, stop releasing the clutch and just hold it in the same spot (while still adding gas). Once the car is in motion...
