Really, the oil thing is not a big deal. I use an extra quart of oil between changes. So, being the 8 uses natural oil, you're talking maybe $3 every couple months. The spark plugs are the bigger issue. Buggers are friggin' expensive at $20 a piece. Guys at Advance Auto did a double take on...

Definitely not the most fuel efficient choice, that's for sure. I daily drove mine April to Nov. About 50 miles per day. I put on 10,000 miles this summer. I averaged 18-20 mixed driving. Not so god aweful really. Plenty trucks out there getting worse.

Well, whatever you choose, I can't wait to see it at the first fun run next year.

Well, I have to say I love my 8. I've had not one single problem with it (knock on wood). There were flooding issues early in the production run due to weak starters and batteries, but those should have been fixed under a TSB. I've started and shut mine down almost immediately several times...
