it did promote a bit of camber in the rear, but the front was fine. as far as stock struts... depends on the condition of them, really. i have heard different opinions. my car has 24k on it, and the OE struts were pretty weak, and let it bottom out frequently.

the current Koni application shows p/n FSD Kit 2100 4040 for both the 3 and Speed: FSD kit must be used with stock height suspension. Mazda 04-08 3 Sedan and Hatchback, Mazdaspeed 3 - 2100 FSD kit i just installed these on my car last weekend, makes a world of difference.

i put some Tenzo wheels from a previous car on mine last week for auto-x, they are 18x8 with 45mm, running 225/40 on H&R springs, fit is good, no rubbing at all. the extra 5mm might get you into the edge tho, depending on tire. pic for reference:

i have seen that on VWs and Audis... most of the metal caps are plated over brass, which reacts with the alloy in the the stem over time. dunno it any sort of anti-sieze would prevent that, might be safer to use some plastic.
