I'm the odd-ball here and went a different route all together....I changed the pipe out from the first Cat and eliminated the 2nd one (bastard to get that CEL to shut off)...and as far as muffler I went with a flowmaster...sounds huge, no buzzing, no rattles, doesn't even sound ricy...all done...

My buddy's civic dyno was around 125 atw...my prot. was around 111....the thing is, I tear him up when ever we race, so it must be the curve

Honestly, I noticed the ticking as well, and it seemed to get louder, I spoke with a friend of mine and he said it just could be the crummy gas, so I started burining 91, and every now and then 104, and the tick isn't there...I've noticed that it does it more in hot weather than cold, Nothing...

I didn't go quite that far, but I did switch out the pipe for a 2 and 3/4'' with a flowmaster on it, and it sounds amazing.
