    Drivetrain coastdown whining/ moaning?

Thanks FORZDA1 for the tip, I will give it a try tomorrow. Assuming we can confirm it is gear whine, is this something that the dealer should cover under warranty? Is it a sign of premature wear?

    Drivetrain coastdown whining/ moaning?

That's about what I would expect from Mazda based on my experiences. I will update when I get ours in but I'm sure I'll get the same answer.

    Drivetrain coastdown whining/ moaning?

Yep, sounds exactly like my issue. I need to get it into the dealer, my guess is that they will say it's normal (as they say about any issue I bring up). Let me know how you make out.

    Drivetrain coastdown whining/ moaning?

I think I have a similar issue, just haven't had a chance to get it to the dealer. Our is a 2008 GT AWD. Was you last one AWD?

Flat Tire (Parada 255/50-20) - Bad Vibration From Spare

My pregnant wife and 2 year old were leaving the mall the other day and found a flat passenger rear tire when they got back to the '9. I get the call.... Luckily there is a car dealer in the same parking lot and a Firestone shop just a bit further. She drove to the dealer who filled the tire up...

    CX-9 OEM Bridgestone Dueler H/L 400's / set of 4

Yep, I was pretty much hoping to find someone needed new treads for a lease return or to sell the vehicle. Or someone taking the car where it doesn't snow would work also! I am running the Spec-X's in the +1 size, great tire so far.

    Dead Homelink?

4th wire is likely the reverse lockout for the auto-dimming. The mirror I picked up has that, the Mazda OEM doesn't.

D'oh. Yoko Parada Spec X backordered

I have them, much better than the OEM tires, just got back from an errand in 4" of wet snow and everything was good. I was afraid they would look off being slightly taller but they don't (IMHO). If anything I think they fill the fender gap a bit better.

    Rearview mirror upgrade

I second that any Gentex mirror will work. I got one off eBay that had auto dimming with reverse disable, homelink and hidden compass. I think it was from a late model Nissan. Just make sure if you get a used one that you get the connector with a a few inches of wire in case the pin layout isn't...

Can't find *ANY* 20" Yokohama Parada X Tires. Ideas?

Same here, getting them mounted tomorrow. Hint - use the found lower price link and give them Tire Rack's price. Also, supposedly.... Yoko is discontinuing this line, that is what 2 local dealers told me when they tried getting an ETA on them. Take that with a grain of salt but supposedly much...

    255/50R20 or 255/45R20?

I called around looking for the Yok's in the stock 245/50R20 size but kept hearing that they were on national backorder and that they may end up being dropped since some or most of the Parada line had already been. The 255/45R20 really needs a wider rim the the CX-9 offers and is actually off...

    255/50R20 or 255/45R20?

Thanks for the feedback guys, I just ordered up a set of Yok's in 255/50R20 from Discount Tire. Used the price match option and got them to beat Tire Rack. Can't wait to get rid of the Duelers before it snows!

    255/50R20 or 255/45R20?

Hi, looking to size up to a 255 but can't decide between the 50 or 45 sidewall. I saw the other thread on the 255/50's anyone tried 255/45's? Pictures would be super helpful! Thanks

WTB: covers for the roof rail attachment points

I have the Thule 450 rack, I have used it a few times and it seemed decent. I went back and forth between the 450 and the podium. Went with the 450 since it seemed to be easier to take on and off (to avoid wind noise from the sunroof area). Why don't you like the 450?
