ok so im through messing with the car what do yall suggest. could it be a clogged turbo or would that be in the exhaust. its not something inside of the engine is it?? i would think this problem would be exhaust related but yall are the experts.

i forgot to mention that when i first start the vehicle it acts as if its starving for fuel but then it does start and when it does rev up to 3500 rpms it makes a strange humming noise that comes and goes then it makes a popping sound sounds like detonation to me but im not real sure.

i was outside playing with the throttle and i managed to get it up to 3500 rpms so i had someone else hold the rpms to 3500 and i looked under the hood the turbo was glowing a really bright redwould that be cause by a clog in the turbo, or intercooler or catalytic converter???

im starting to see that. first off what and where is the maf sensor. and second im beginning to think that i have the wrong fuel pump installed. its actually looking like i may get to drive my car again in 2008

how can i see if there are any codes without having it towed to mazda

yes i hold the peddle to the floor start the car while continuing to hold the peddle to the floor and it will run at 700 rpms. then i can release the peddle completly and it drops to 600 rpms. but if i ease back into the throttle after it its 700 rpms it just dies.

are there any things i can try to trobleshoot to see if it the turbo or if there is a completly different component at fault all together. the shop i had it in didnt know what they were doing

sorry forgot to give more info. i have a 2006 mazdaspeed 6 with 52000 miles on it. it has a mazdaspeed cold air intake but that is the only mod. untill that night i had a trouble free car

ok i had an incident where i apperently gave this car more than it could handle. i blew out the clutch and flywheel which have just been replaced. but they got it back together today and it will only hold idle. will not rev what so ever they put a scan tool on it and it said turbo. thats all...
