FS: MSP Snow Tires on Rims 195/60R15 $100

Not sure, they fit a 2005 MSP and most Mazda have the same lug pattern, so I would assume they would fit.

    Cheap MSP - Act fast!

I posted this on here a bit ago, but had no takers. I was planning on working on it a bit, then trying again, but at this point I just want to be rid of the thing. The final straw was when the alarm system died and I discovered the welds on the muffler hanger (ION Performance) had broken free...

    2003.5 Yellow MSP - Cheap!

That is the question of the hour. Tracking down the problem is the real issue, once you know that, the fix would probably be fairly reasonable. But a random multiple cylinder misfire can be any number of things. A search on the forum will show you some of the possibilities.

    2003.5 Yellow MSP - Cheap!

The car has 60,000 miles on it (the engine has 5000). The situation: This was my toy for the past 3 years, but I recently bought a house and can no longer afford a car I only drive on sunny weekends. The car has a check engine light at the moment P0300 Random multiple cylinder misfire, which...

    Frozen Engine

Well, we will see. This car has been sitting a while and has had a small coolant leak forever, hence the lack of anti-freeze. A neighbor wanted a beater for their kid, so I offered it up. It it is dead, it is no big deal. I put it in the garage with the kerosene heater running to warm it up...

    Frozen Engine

I took the beater 626 yesterday to give it to someone and discovered the cooling system had frozen, not enough anti-freeze. I put it in the garage to heat it up and it seems ok except for one thing. It is missing one of those round metal disks that they put in to seal up the engine block, they...

MSP Advice: Sell or Part Out?

It idles like crap but actually still pulls decently under acceleration. The vac pressure at idle bounces from 0 to -10, it hits -15 when I let off the accelerator at speed. The dealership did a pressure test and a lead down test and everything appeared ok. Guess the ECU is the next step.

MSP Advice: Sell or Part Out?

It was the random multiple cylinder misfire code. It has been throwing it forever it seems. I threw it on the last engine and this one. The tech says both o2 sensors are pegged at 44 volts. Not sure what the odds of both o2 sensors dying at the same time are. I am thinking of trying to pick...

MSP Advice: Sell or Part Out?

Here is my dilemna. I own a yellow MSP with 60k miles. It runs like crap and won't pass inspection. I have tried to get it back as close to stock as possible and the dealership (or anyone else) still won't touch it. They called today to tell me that the o2 sensors were stuck at one reading...

    Boost Questions

The engine internals are also not that strong. You will need to seriously consider forged pistons and rods if you want to build any real power. The stock LSD also stinks, which can be a barrier to big hp numbers. If you are looking at under 250 hp, you should be fine with bolt ons though.

10 psi on almost stock MSP question

SMIC doesn't really give you any more bang, just makes boom less likely when you up the boost. 10 psi on stock set up is really playing with fire IMHO. When it goes, it will go big and expensive. You are a little safer without a Fuel Cut Defencer, as the ECU will kick in fuel cut if you begin...

What have you done to your MSP today?

I finally got the MPI installed. BlkZoomZoom will be tuning it on Monday and if all goes well, we will hit the track on Wednesday.
