    MSP oil pressure install

I had one person contact me with interest so I haven't ordered any for the MSP installation. Also, I haven't taken any photos... sorry. I did have to re-tighten the sending unit.... it dripped a small amount. It's tough to get up in there.... You need a crow's foot and a long extension to get...

    A week on Fuzion ZRi's

I had AVS ES100's on my Miata and really liked them for the 5,000 miles before I traded in on the MSP. However, a lot of people have told me the ES100's get noisy after 10,k miles. However, I tend to think that has a lot to do with alignment. I've been quite pleased with the Fuzion ZRi's I...

    Build your Dream MSP

Just a quick note on this... the VDO gauge is made to go with the electric VDO sender, regardless of what car it's on... it's a standard resistance range, anyway. (0-180 ohm) The thread pitch is BSP, just like the original.. there is no adaptor... the sending unit has a low-level contact to wire...

    Build your Dream MSP

My 'dream MSP' will vary greatly from others because I want to maintain the fun value that drew me to it in the first place. The only engine upgrades I have planned are: (not in order) DSM's Hardpipes $200 DSM's AFC $300 Jspec SMIC $600 Jspec J-pipe $300 Stock boost Greddy or HKS BOV (?)...

    How big is YOUR gauge?

Here's a shot of my gauges... before I'd put the voltmeter in place. They are VDO gauges and the DIN panel is from 42 draft designs. (www.42draftdesigns.com)

    MSP oil pressure install

I have not installed an Autometer sender or gauge but I have installed a 0-80psi VDO sender and gauge. The way I have it working is that I bought a sending unit that has a low pressure contact point and the correct thread pitch. I wired the contact to the stock wiring harness and ran the...

Calling all MSP's with aftermarket Wheels

Stock offset is 55mm. More general info on offset here: http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/tech/offset.htm Stock tire size is 215/45/17 I used 225/45/17 and had rubbing on the insides with the Racing Hart's. I put 5mm spacers between the wheel and hub, effectively changing my offset to 50mm...

Calling all MSP's with aftermarket Wheels

Just depends on your priorities... Mine were 1. lightweight, 2. good offset choice(s), 3. no unused lug holes, 4. price, and 5. looks. I like the more aggressive look. I also like the way the WRX looks from the side. So, thanks for the compliment! The pix don't do it justice. Plus, the...

Calling all MSP's with aftermarket Wheels

Here's mine: http://home.nc.rr.com/candcm/MSP/index.html Kosei TS 17x7 (silver painted) w/ 42mm offset and Fuzion ZRi 225/45/17 tires. Each wheel was 6-7 lbs. lighter than stock RH's with the same wheels...

    Wheel/Tire combo: Kosei TS/Fuzion 225

Just a quick update... I had the rear fenders professionally rolled at a place called 'Phantasm Motorsports' in Raleigh, NC. They have a special tool to do it. The tech, 'Hong' did a great job and I have NO RUBBING now.. :) Cost $100 which I think is fair for the quality of work.... He even...

    Wheel/Tire combo: Kosei TS/Fuzion 225

Photos The fronts do not rub at all, anywhere under any circumstances I've tried. I knew that the 50mm offset would still rub just a little on the inside at full lock turn so I tried the 42mm. I measured the rears but clearly I didn't do it right.... :( Pictures can be found AT THIS LINK...

    Wheel/Tire combo: Kosei TS/Fuzion 225

I have photos on my digital camera that I haven't been able to upload due to work and other responsibilities. I got the 42mm Kosei's w/ 225/45/17 Fuzion's and they definitely rub in the back fender wells. I rolled them a little with various things in the garage just to get them to not rub...

    Wheel/Tire combo: Kosei TS/Fuzion 225

FedEx just dropped off the wheels... They look awesome... Also, I weighed the Racing Hart's with Fuzion tires at 43 lbs. and the Kosei's with the same tire.... drum roll please......... 37 lbs.! I just lost 24lbs of rotational mass!!!!! SUUUWEEET! Now if only I could lose 24 lbs... :( I...

Has anyone sold their racing hart rims?

You sold all 4 for $300? One wheel (no tire, no lugs) at the dealership was $362. If your wheels were in the same shape as mine, someone got an excellent deal. My price is negotiable... it's used stuff... so if someone was interested, they could send me a PM with an offer... that's...

Has anyone sold their racing hart rims?

I've tried selling 3 here without much luck.. So, I tried just selling 2... also with no luck... or at least, not after a week of advertising them. I have a friend at work that may buy them but we have to test-fit them on his Mazda6 to see if they'll fit. I still don't exactly know what...

    Wheel/Tire combo: Kosei TS/Fuzion 225

I bought the 42mm offset just to be on the safe side.... With the 5mm spacers, there's a slight rub on the inside when cornering hard. I measured all the space and could likely go to 40mm without too much trouble... I'm really looking forward to getting the new Kosei's. I decided to keep 2...

    Babay got new shoes!

I'm looking to get the same brand wheel and same offset... I'm not following why they won't go on the hub... Is the hub indent on the wheel smaller than the width of the hub on the rotor? Thanks, Carl

    Wheel/Tire combo: Kosei TS/Fuzion 225

I'm running 225/45/17 Fuzion tires on the stock wheels currently. They rubbed a little on the insides.... So, I added 5mm spacers and the rubbing was mostly eliminated. (you have to really push it now to get some rubbing) I lost a wheel and tire recently by hitting a driveshaft on the...

    3" SS S-pipe Replacement!!!

BTW, I followed up on my own advice and did a search on ssautochrome on miataforum... they seem to have corrected their fitment issues... however, they sure pissed off a lot of people before they fixed them. People's comments are somewhat positive but the manifold is now affectionately called...
