CX-9 Is It Good? How do you like it?

I'm in the same situation as sjg. I owned a 2008 CX-9 until 2 weeks ago and then I bought a Santa Fe. Sjg is spot on in his description. The diving confidence it inspires is unmatched. You can really push it hard into corners and know exactly what it's going to do. I don't have that AT ALL...

    Spied: 2017 Mazda CX-9

To those considering other vehicles... I bought a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe limited ultimate 10 days ago. While I like all the bells and whistles, the more I drive it, the more I wish I had my bare-bones CX-9 sport back. Or at least I wish I had waited for the new CX-9 to come out. I drove all the...

    Spied: 2017 Mazda CX-9

Yeah, it is pretty small, but I rarely use the 3rd row. Once in a great while I have to transport other kids. Other than that I leave the 3rd row folded down. Tex, you can get the 40/20/40 split seats in the Limited. The ultimate limited has the captains chairs which is an extra ~$500.

    Spied: 2017 Mazda CX-9

I've been waiting for the new CX-9, but have been test driving other 3-row SUVs to see what everybody else has to offer. Nothing has been that great so far (Highlander, Durango, Pilot, Traverse). But then I drove a 2017 Santa Fe yesterday and fell in love. And then I saw a new video posted...

Possibly, but I was in negotiations to get my wife a CX-5 and just casually asked about the CX-9. No incentive to sell me a current one.

    Spied: 2017 Mazda CX-9

I talked to my local dealership sales manager today and she said that Mazda told her to not expect the new CX-9 until the very end of summer, meaning September. She also said that the delivery schedule has been delayed twice now, but wasn't sure of the reason. If this is true, will it still be...

Mazda "Connect" Navigation System in 2016 and beyond (Good Read, Trust me)

I really like INRIX XD Traffic for the iPhone. It's what I use and I got a coworker to start using it too.

I'll be trading in my 2008 CX-9 when the new one comes out this summer. Is it worth putting new-ish tires from Criagslist on ($300) or leave my old ones on that have 6/32nds? I can just see the dealership taking $1000 off the value for new ties. Thoughts?

I don't think they have a web designer anymore. They don't even have the updated info on the 2016.5 CX-5, and they've been in dealerships for a number of weeks now.

All New 2016 Mazda CX-9 is now in production

It makes me wonder why Mazda changed the availability date from spring to summer if this is in production now.

I see they just added a section about the radar cruise control on the official site. 3/4 of the way down the page. http://www.2016mazdacx9.com/#overview Edit: It shows 8 features. You have to click the right/left button to see them all. Lane departure, adaptive lighting, etc

Sweet! Thanks for posting that video. 2 weeks ago my transfer case and spline gear on my 08 broke, so of course I'm looking at a 2016. Did anybody notice those tiny driving lights? The part about the more direct-feeling transmission makes me want this even more.

2nd Row Air on While Car is off

I had mine start flashing the hazards for about 5 seconds. The keys were in the house and nobody was home except me. I was planning on taking a day trip that afternoon...I made my friend drive instead because it made me nervous.

How to remove the rear bumper cover

I had to shell out $1100 to get the other car fixed. It needed a new hood, front quarter panel and headlight. The bumper was buffed out and the other parts were used or aftermarket. My CX-9 just had the black part of the bumper cracked. The bumper was pretty easy to get on and off although...

How to remove the rear bumper cover

I backed out of my garage and right into a friend's car in my driveway. I just happened to find a used one of the same color for $50+$75 2 day shipping on ebay.
