Im not going for power with my car, Ive already been through one engine due to manufacturer defect, I dont want to blow one on my own. Im going for show with my ride, so Im not too worried about performance THAT much. A little less weight over my front wheels doesnt bother me when I'm not going...

I dunno. I never thought about it on any other colors because of the red weave, but I suppose it would be an awesome touch if you decided to do a red-on-white theme. Never seen that one done yet. ;)

For sale is a carbon kevlar hood for a 1st Gen MS3. I bought this hood from Fiber Images via ********** for a little over 1K after shipping - about $850 before shipping. It is NOT carbon fiber - it is RED carbon kevlar, which is why it cost more than a normal CF hood. I have never seen another...

I dunno, they look a little scratched/marred on the bottom in second picture. Nothing terribad, of course, but enough to show they were slightly used. Nonetheless, still pretty awesome!! Me so happy!!!! :D:D:D

On some hoods, maybe, but the Fiber Images hood looks like the latch is on there pretty secure. Ive spent quite a while at high speeds (140+) on the open freeway with this hood on, and had no trouble with it wobbling or looking like its going to come off. Only takes once, though, I guess. lol
