I normally run 18-19psi with some 20psi runs. I'm on stock plugs with NO stutter at all. A lot more people are doing it then this forum thinks....

I like mine...I have a turboxs fmic. But for the price I would go with the cobb or cpe over the turboxs. I bought mine before both that I mentioned were out. But no CEL and I don't have a standback or a AP. Just intake/bc/mapclamp/testpipe/fmic...no check engine lights at all :)

It probabley not as hot as where you are but its already 90-95ish here and the ac is still the same....

I removed that a long time ago...my charge temp didn't change at all via scan gauge so that means the tmic is still getting the amount of air flow that it was before :)

if the customer wants it and if its availible for your car then its not bs work. i look for new tsb's everyday...its good to stay on top of things so you know what is going on. i guess im to much into customer service.... plain and simple the techs just dont want to deal with it.

That is bs...i'm a lexus tech and they are lazy. If someone wants a reflash i'm going to do it...that is easy money to a tech. Its hard to find good techs and good dealerships. But the tsb is there for reference but if its under warranty then why the hell not do it(if availble) and get paid...

That sounds like the cam actuator TSIB...is yours a 07? Go look at the tsb's. I'm a lexus tech and the is250 and is350 engines as well as the gs300 and gs350's have this same noise...

I just installed mine as well...I made a boost leak tester with stuff from home depot. I found I had a really bad leak at the bpv/bov flange welds. The weld looked like crap and you could see the pin holes. Needless to say turboxs has done nothing about it and will not return my phone call or...

I noticed very little with my test pipe...i'm sure the gain is there but it didn't bite me in the butt like the intake or boost controller did...and by deleting the last cat your not going to get heavy exhaust gas fumes...its not even noticable on my car.

I have ran between 17-19psi....with little to no knock(< 1.5). I went on a road trip (out of state). I was closer to sea level and using there gas and I was showing around 3.0ish...ran that fuel out and put different gas in and it was back to normal... mods:intake, test pipe, boost controler...

The fuel was just a saftey net. There was no noticalbe difference... The Temp was saying 63 degrees in my car. The other 60fts I cut were a 2.05(27psi) and a 2.13(32psi).....

I had a rx8 with a racing beat midpipe...I actually still have...and I know what you are talking about. I just put the CS midpipe on my MS3 and I love it. I haven't noticed the smell...so I guess its not really that different. I noticed the smell right away with my rx8. I still have stock...
