    Which brake pads to get?

    ditto on posi quiet - love them and affordable - put them on everything with discs - haven't tried their shoes. Venture an unscientific guess of 10%+ improved stopping.

    uneven rotor wear

    Take a sharpie and make a few radial lines from center out where the pad should be contacting the rotor - multiple lines will show any uneven runout as well. Sounds like your old caliper's piston was binding in its bore? Good luck.

    Anybody know where to get another adapter - other than a junk yard - they are thieves here. They are those black H7 to H4 Stanley bulb adapters. I called around locally and know one has a clue. I just need one. thx

    Mouser - You could have a loose strut - check to make sure. Stating the obvious here, but if you still have factory rubber mounts their torn by now - you need better mounts with that clutch. But like everyone else has already said it could be you needing near perfect shifting - just learn how to...
