mine, 2...checked out by one local shop and he stated that most likely would be from accessories belt tensioning or fatigue...my MP3 occurred on low rpm at any gear but reverse...

also for that 10mm extra width you may lost your MPG and take longer on 0~60 time...although very minimum...

thanks guys, my MP3 brake light also has been on/off for almost two month...same m.o., almost gone front pads with cold temp (30~38F here in so cal morning)... guess it's time for cross rotors and some upgrade pads...

this story may not fit exactly in this thread but here it is my wife's 04 6S Wagon 3.0 V6 has been having clicking sound (like metal to metal contact) since day 1 we got the car. we thought it may be normal so leave it there..2 yrs after as of now..it still exist..so i finally brought the car...

here are clips, one video can be played by quick time and the other is wmv sound (please jump to 60sec and after to avoid hearing my preparation) it's weird i can't tell the difference today when i recorded it...maybe it's really my greedy side to ask me for a new cat back...

mine came stock and never been taken off, so i wonder if anything's wrong with it or just my excuse to replace with another cat back...let me get the clips first...

that's interesting to see RaiderMP5 posted the racing beat sound clip and mentioned something of leaking.. my wife, my friends and i all noticed my stock MP3 racing beat does not sound right recently (a bit louder but deeper humble) so i suspected it's got a leak..but don't know where...

just my my experience with Mobil-1 0W-20 for my wife's 6S Wagon is that it fades out after 5k so you may want to keep 5k interval as manual recommanded...but Mobil-1 0W-40 for my MP3 is still so clear (clean?!) after 4k from the dip...so go figure...ACEA A1 certified is my only personal choice...
