I'd say San Diego is one of the nicer places to stay (especially in October....we'll have the best weather!!) Check out hotels in Downtown La Jolla or look at the Hotel Del Coronado. For little romantic trips, there's world class dining in Dowtown La Jolla, wineries in the Temecula Valley...

Well just a couple insights, my rx-8 is faster in a straight line than my friends 03 GT convertible (might be because of the extra weight he's carrying), the rx-8 redlines at 9k rpm not 8k, and I get about 18mpg combined city/highway with 20" rims. Hope it helps!

jophus - Not 5 minutes, I've had the car for about a year now mchaggis - Love the avatar, old school DC Skin transplanted to San Diego a few years back....nyhc...it's alright.....DCHC now that's the good stuff!!

The HRE's are lighter than the factory rims/tires and the car REALLY sticks in the turns now. I mean, it's still WAY faster than an MSP !! :)

Sorry, I tend to only hold onto my cars for a few years...will need to put them back on to trade in or sell.
