I was just telling you what I did. The hose I took off wasn't long enough to connect the two so I bought some heater hose from pepboys and blocked off the part going in and out to the throttle body.

Haha. Yeah this thread is a little old. I don't have a mazda but with mine I just conected the inlet and outlet together with one piece obviously. Then I capped off the two ends going into the throttle body. I just bought the caps at pepboys.

I actually just got done doing this to my Rs. Can't notice a difference but my manifold was still hot from going out and picking everything up....burned my hand just a little too. (stooges)

I read in the new sport compact car that they did a test before and after the flash and lost 1 or 2 hp and gained a little less then 1 ft lb of tourque. That kinda sucks. Why would they do that?

I love rally, Rally Mexico is 2 Sunday's from now at 10 pm. The new format sucks ass though, comes on at 9 pm, half hour updating...9:30-10:30 rally and they still take forever to get to the actual recent stages. I understand what you're saying. I was getting confused with the Sti thing, while it is an sti shell, it's a Wrc car wich is not sold to the public. lol. I thought you were saying that is wasn't started out as an Sti.

What are you reading?? I'm not sure of the numbers but every Wrc car must produce a certain number of units in a certain number of countries. For example the sti, has to make at least 2,500 sti's (and yes the rally cars are made from sti's) and sell them in the Uk, Japan and so on. Not sure on...

Sorry, you will not be able to get an exhaust closly sounding like a wrx. You may be able to get a low tone but it won't sound like a wrx.

Well I'd say get it if you like your car looking like a peice of s***. They are the gayest things ever made. Just keep the stock one and use the money on something else worth wile. But it's your car and if you like getting piped up the ass then by all means buy one. :D

It's just from hard driving I have them on my subie and so do all my friends with subies. My whole group of friends drive hard all the time and everyones tires are like that.

I don't know if you know but a stiffer ride is better!:D I will always sacrifice ride quality for a stiffer suspention. If it means I have to go slower over crappy roads I will, I'd have more fun on the nice roads:p
