Mazdaspeed 6 was an experiment by Ford/Mazda anyways lol. It need not any advertising. IMO the speed3 is advertised a lot more than the speed6.

Did you feel the ECU kick in in the first two gears? In other reviews I've read, the power delivery is perfect for the first 2 gears. Just the right amount of power for the front wheels to not slip when launching. As for the torque steer, I think you'll feel it when the car is pushed harder...

If I were you, I'd tell them to not install the CAI, deliver the car with stock intake to you. Then ask them to give you the CAI in the box, install of the CAI is easy, anyone should be able to handle it. That way you still keep the stock intake.
