we had this same problem on my cousins car I'd personally just go with one of the regular sized 55W kits I've had nothing but trouble with 35w slim kits but haven't had any real problems with the normal sized kits.

Speaking as a person who did this for a living DO NOT take any weather proofing or accessory packages extended warranties etc they sell, its a rip off you can get everything done for cheaper if you just do it yourself.
