CPE is highly regarded in the Mazda6 community for their awesome customer service and high quality.

FMIC is being developed by CPE. They should also be releasing their downpipe soon. The intake would be worth it to me just for the sound. You can actually hear the engine as well as the stock bov. But it does add some performance. There are some dyno charts on CPEs website as well as 6club.

I had this exact problem as well at the beginning of the summer. I changed my cabin air filter and no longer had any issues. I was at about 22,000 miles when I changed the filter.
