A pull to one side is more likely camber and not toe. When they did the alignment, there should be a complete report including camber and cross camber numbers. Please report those here.

I bought a set of these for my 2017 CX-5 back in December and have been very happy with them: Smooth and quiet, handle well plus I notice an mpg improvement as well.

Tires could be out of round. Easy to prove by changing to different tires. I purchased a set of Falken tires for a Toyota years ago. As soon as I drove out of the tire shop, the car was bouncing. They were not able to fix by balancing. I changed tire brand and problem went away.

It could very well be damaged harness. Do you see any evidence of rodents especially in the cargo area?

Does the noise change when you brake? Make sure there is not a small rock or gravel between brake rotor and pad.

What grease did you use? Make sure you are using high temp brake grease.

There is no drain tube. That channel where all of the leaves collect provides the drain path for the cowl. Try pouring water into the hole on the passenger side of the windshield cowl and watch where the water exits. I did use a coat hanger and there were a lot of leaves in there.

I would suggest you stay with standard flooded battery. The CX-5 is not designed to optimally charge AGM. Plus, AGM batteries are more costly. Speaking of cost, the CX-5 can take either a group 35 or 26r battery. The Walmart Everstart 26r provides 540 CCA which is comparable to the OEM...

This is a very interesting comparison. I'm surprised by the results. For the 17s, did you use OEM size (225/65) tires? Did you calculate MPG or use MPG numbers from the dash display?

It is my understanding that all normally aspirated Mazda 2.5L since 2018 have CD.
