Huh. I guess I missed the tire size needed. The OP has a 2016 Cx-5 like mine and I have the Defender LTX M/S, so I assumed he’d be able to get them too. I’ll take your word that the tire doesn’t come in the size requested. That’s too bad, because they are great tires on my CX5.

My 2016 cx5 does it too. Long ago I read a thread about what it could be. I think someone suggested cam phaser? maybe? Regardless, its harmless.

Ive had uhaul install two hitches for me, one with lights on a CX 5 and one without lights on a CRV. Id recommend getting the lights installed. Without lights, you cant do much more than mount a bike rack. I just pulled a trailer yesterday. Trust me, get the lights.

Yup. Sounds like we're having the same issue. So far so good with my pausing a second or two after shifting into drive before I press the accelerator. I've been doing this for two or so weeks and no surge.

Just visit a U-Haul. I had them install a 2" hitch and electrical on my 2016 CX-5. No it's not a 16.5, but that doesn't matter. There are no structural changes between the models.
