    Tire dilemma - 2016 CX-5 GT

Good for you. I'll have to replace mine at 1/2 your mileage and I can assure you I don't do burn outs. I check the pressure very frequently and I also rotated the tires twice in 14.5K so my conclusion is that the TOYO are junk and I'll pick another brand when I replace them. I expected to put...

    Tire dilemma - 2016 CX-5 GT

His roads must be as "rough" as mine here in PA. I have logged 14.5K miles on my original Toyo tires since new in July 2015 and the yearly vehicle inspection yesterday revealed that I have only 5/32 left on the front and 6/32 left on the rear. I was not happy to hear that!

    The 2017 Grill

The grille is fine but the thick chrome trim under it............ well, I don't care for it at all. To each his own.

had to put the Hater-ration away when I saw this in person at the Tulsa Car Show

I'll keep my 2016. I don't care for the longer snot, the wheels and the chrome trim around the grille and the back window of the 2017.

2017 Mazda Cx 5 side Mirrors

While it's mostly true for streets (I grew up in France), it's not the case for parking spaces anymore. Nowadays, the more cars they can squeeze in a US parking lot, the more money they make.

2017 Mazda Cx 5 side Mirrors

The Japanese must believe that streets and parking spaces are wider in the US than anywhere else. <sigh>

2017 Impressions, Noise Comparison and Our New 2016 GT

In 2015, 47% of CX-5 owners identified themselves as members of Gen X (those born from 1965-1976) or Gen Y (1977-1994), That's interesting. Why do they focus on the 47% and not the other 53%? I'm a member of Gen W by the way.

    2017 CX-5 Pics Thread

Same here, styling wise. Not crazy about the longer snot, particularly the added piece at the end of the hood.

    This thing is not useless!

Thanks. I'd prefer a door but this is better than nothing.

Great idea! I'll ask a friend who has one.

    This thing is not useless!

Still looking for a door for this thingy. <sigh> Without a door, it's pretty much useless except for holding dust like someone else said.

2017 Impressions, Noise Comparison and Our New 2016 GT

Yep, that's exactly what I wrote. It's his deal, not ours. BTW, we were in NH & ME between Xmas and New Year. Loved it. Fell in love with Shipyard's Island Time IPA. <wink>

2017 Impressions, Noise Comparison and Our New 2016 GT

And then you add sales tax, plates and title to get an OTD price and what do you end up with? My 2016 AWD GT w/ Tech w/ lock nuts, rear bumper protection and all weather mats cost me $30,934.00 everything included in July 2015 and I also got a pretty good trade value for my previous car. The...

2017 Impressions, Noise Comparison and Our New 2016 GT

Good deal vs. bad deal is subjective. If you paid $28.6K OTD (title, plate and sales tax included) for a never titled 2016 GT Soul Red, even with 3,300 miles on the odo, and also got a free remote starter installed, it is a fair deal, IMO. If you're happy with the deal, that what matters, what...

    2017 CX-5: Driven!!

Actually, and I don't mean to argue with you, but for my CX-5, the title is not only official and legal but it gives also a pretty accurate description of what my car included when I took delivery of it. I decoded the VIN using this tool https://www.vindecoderz.com/ and was surprised that lock...

Who has done the Mazda AIO Hack?

Did it yesterday. Worked fine. Took 10mn from start to finish. Download from site, select the tweaks you want to install, put the compiled result on a USB memory stick, plug the stick in one of the 2 USB ports, start the car and let the software install automatically. I used a 128Gb stick. No...
