Now a little hesitant to try the NGK ILKAR7L11 plugs after reading the "Ignition gremlin". The Mazda plugs are about $25 a piece, but maybe they are just worth it to avoid future problems.

This sounds like Toyota which also claims lifetime fluid for their transmissions. However, on my 2010 Corolla the dealer recommended a flush around 60k, which I got done.

What is the recommended interval by Mazda? I'll have to take it to the dealer to get the transmission serviced.

My 2016 Cx-5 Sport 2.5L automatic has about 67K on it. When do I need to change the Automatic Transmission fluid? Is it a drain and fill or flush for this model? Also, do I stick with the Mazda transmission fluid?

Did you use the Mazda PE5R-18-110 or the NGK 94124/ILKAR7L11 ? Any performance or mpg differences?

So are the Mazda PE5R-18-110 the same as the NGK Laser Iridium ILKAR7L11/94124 spark plug?

Do you know the size for the license plate screws?

I noticed that my CX-5 sport license plate tag screws are very rusty. I live in South florida and had bought it used about five years back. Do these bolts rust so easily? Where can I get replacement ones?

Is it possible to drive to 100,000 miles and then change the original spark plugs?

So when changing spark plugs for the '16 CX-5 sport, do we need to apply the anti seize?

The tensioner on my Cx-5 was probably started leaking around 35 to 40k, if I remember correctly..

Sorry but I drive on that road very often and I can notice the distinct noise which was the noise I was getting before changing the leaking belt tensioner and belt.

It's the same noise that was starting to occur prior to changing the leaking hydraulic tensioner and drive belt. It seemed to have resolved after they changed it, until very recently. I am going to drive it around slowly in a quiet parking lot area and see if I can re-create it.

I am afraid to take it to Tires Plus again because of the oil filters they use. I believe Pennzoil PZ-37. The dealer probably uses a Mazda oil filter.

So I am about a 1,000 miles from 5k oil change interval. Had used Tiresplus last time for a synthetic oil change. I'll probably get an oil change in January at the dealer. So should I set it to "Flexible" right after the oil change? Once I set it to Flexible, I'll probably not go past 7,500...
