I'm getting an oil change at Costco and I don't care

I've run most of my vehicles well over 350K kms. In fact, the last 2 have rotted out before engine/transmission failure.

I'm getting an oil change at Costco and I don't care

Nope, they have a whole online booking system. They only take appointments, no walk ins so no waiting (other than waiting for the service). Keeps the chaos down at the Tire and Lube place. You must be mistaken because I just looked and I can book...tire appointments...at least in Plano Texas...

I'm getting an oil change at Costco and I don't care

Just went on too long. I'm only a few thousand over. I'm an oldschool every 5km oil change guy.

I'm getting an oil change at Costco and I don't care

At Costco up here they book appointments. 10:30 tomorrow morning (thought it was today). No waiting, no nothing. The lady was quite helpful. 59.99 for full synthetic.

I'm getting an oil change at Costco and I don't care

I've always gone to the dealer, but they are not open weekends anymore so I'm going to Costco. Castrol Edge is a good oil, the filter can't be that bad. I'm doing it. Roast me, I don't care but I need one badly.

Well, she went last night. A quick $280 for scrap. She was a good one.

    CX-30 93 octane question

Not for nothin' but in my CX-5 I definitely notice if I run 91 octane. I'm not sure about power gains or anything like that, but it runs smoother, a little less sluggish. If I run the 94 that you can get from PetroCan up here, I really notice it. When we go to 'Murica, it runs even better on...

    Ordered a 2024 CX-30 GT

We downsized because a CX-5 GT was approaching, if not more than 50K. That's just too much.

How did you break-in your engine?

From what I've read, and the experiences with others....no. It's not a thing. Although, some very expensive cars have a built in "break in" period where the car isn't allowed to do certain things until a certain mileage.

Been following MotorTrend's long term CX-30 test...

FWIW I rent alot of vehicles through work. Alot of travelling. I've had everything from a $100k Velar to a hunk of junk Toyota CH-R. I've had some vehicles that the radar cruise control will literally jam on the brakes and you have to take control to keep from crashing. I've also had some...

    Ordered a 2024 CX-30 GT

So I just put in an order for a 2024 CX-30 GT. $44k taxes included, Canadian. 72mos @5.7%...or 5.6% Not sure, somewhere around there. In my area there are no 2023 CX-30s at all. You HAVE to order. Take it or leave it. But on the plus side, they didn't take a deposit because if you back out...

2008 Mazda3 at the end of the line

The powertrain on this, other than some leaks, has been rock solid. Still lots of power. I've always hated how some imports skimp on metal thickness and their cars end up like this. This car would still be going if it didn't rot out like a 1977 Monte Carlo in the rust belt...

2008 Mazda3 at the end of the line

I mainly post in the CX-5 Forum but I've got a 2008 Mazda3. The rear end has pretty much collaped, thanks rust!. Gotta get a new vehicle. 340K kms on the odometer. I can't complain. It's been a bit of a beast. Sad to see her go.

There will be a new CX-5 in 2 years...Mazda said

I don't understand why people want the CX-5 bigger when essentially the bigger CX-5 is the CX-9. And now there is the CX-50. Like holy jeez people.
