I'd buy an R32 in a heartbeat before I bought a WRX, or even an STi or Evo. I'm a VW/Audi fan from way back though. The artical I read said VW was targetting the "low end" roadster market - Miata, Pontiac Solstice, etc.

Best part is that VW is supposed to cost in the $25k range. I'm guessing a 1.8T version in that range, with the VR6 being over $30k. They won't make it too expensive, because they don't want to infringe on the sales of TTs and Boxsters.
