it can be done but you need a press to press out the old bearing and press in the new. other then that it is pretty simple. I just took mine to my mechanic and it was like 1hrs labour.

I've had no issues with silver stars. they are plenty bright and i'm on the same bulbs i put in over a year ago. I did disable my DRL's so i'm sure that would extend the life a bit.

You'll need the bearing and the clip. Mine went a couple of months ago and that's all i needed.

I washed and waxed mine today oh and detailed the interior. that was kinda fun.

I'm in Canada too and that's the route I went. the how-to off the site is really easy to do. It also gives you the option to put your DRL's on a switch so if you are like me and need your DRL's to pass inspection I just flip the switch take it into the garage and they are non the wiser.

they are in rough shape i did the cleaning how to and they came pretty good but there are a few stress cracks in them. So i figure new ones are in order.

Thanks... seeing as I live in Canada that could explain it. I was just thinking of replacing mine after the winter and from looking around online i just noticed the ones like mine are almost $100 more over the chrome ones on the site I was looking at.
