I've thought of trying this but i was always to paranoid of effin something up. good stuff.

The same thing happenend to me as well. The previous owner had removed the roof rack and there were holes underneath the wheather stripping on top. I sealed up the holes and never had that problem again.

im sure you can have someone stretch them but stock FD tires are 225/50/16. i would not use a 55 wall if i were you though. and yes they are 16x8's

I know a few people have used 215's on here but i went safe with 205's and i still had to roll my fenders

you can rent the tool for about $68 from any autozone,kragen, etc.... then once you return it you get all your money back. trust me, it is worth it.

yeah they will fit. I used to run 16x7.5 +40 offset wrapped in 205/40/16's.
