Doesn't matter how good of a driver you are, you can't overcome physics. There are hills around here that were just not possible to get up in the snow with the stock Dunlops. Put on snow tires and up I went. I can't imagine driving around in the winter on those Dunlops.

I think it's a bit deceiving because of the 22" wheels on there. It's a lot bigger than it looks in that picture. I've been in one (just a "regular" Touareg) and it's pretty big. Certainly bigger than an Outback or an A4. Closer to a Cherokee.

Yes, that is backwards, especially for a FWD car. That's what is confusing to me. I don't have any problem with the car having a rear brake bias if that's the way it is designed, but if it's not then I'd like to fix it.

I just had to replace my rear brake pads on my 2002.5 P5 at about 23K miles. The strange part is that the rear wore out before the front. Also strange, the outside pads were down to the metal, while the inside pads had about 1/3 left. But that's a different issue. I know this car has EBD, but...
