    Beach trip every other weekend or third depending on work and schedules.... Gets 29MPG on the automatic tranny and it's a 3.5 hour trip each way... Goes by pretty quick and commfy.

    Bad alternator?

    Because the wiring in these cars are barely adequate. The other day when I was fixing some speaker woes, I noticed how small gauge of wire they used even for the speakers.. At least it's not your high-beams and low beams dimming when you accelerate... still trying to figure out how that's possible.

    Radiator upgrades for an automatic transmission

    No, they both use the same radiator from what I've seen. The Automatic has a cooler built into the stock radiator. (You'll notice lines in going from the tranny to the radiator.) You can splice in another universal cooler inline withe the current one for more cooling.

    Bingo! I had used a cleaner on the lenses which helped some, but it didn't clean them up like I want. Love this forum!
