You should not need to remove the unichip. Your Unichip ECU power switch may be off. Check on that...

transmission locking up some gears randomly wtf

Hmmm, Royal Purple probably was not the way to go, most of us that have used it did nopt have the greatest results. I can vouch for Redline MT-90, I've been using it since about 25,000 miles and I'm at 50,000+. I doubt the fluid is the problem though, but you never know.

Yep, straight from the factory shop manual. Good to hear you got the tranny problem fixed though.

    Gt28rs ???

"Lol" OK... This is what the msp is working with rod/piston wise. I've seen them let go at less than 10psi from the stock turbo, however that is not always the case. Good luck to you.

    Gt28rs ???

Dude, you are going to need all the associated gaskets and seals, a different intake (or modify yours, it needs to be 3" in order to mate with the turbo inlet), you'll need to fabricate a small bracket to make the WGA work, you will need slim cooling fans (GT28rs won't fit with the factory...

Why do parts fail less than 2,000 miles out of warranty?

Things break just out of warranty on all types of cars, not just MSPs. I manage a shop and see it all the time. Customers are always pissed because the dealer tries to **** them, then they come to us. Warranties are limited to a specific mileage for a reason, because tests show parts are more...

    Vibrant exhaust problem

Use a bigger hanger (available at pep boys, etc) at the very back to put downward pressure right below the lip and kartboys for the rest of the hangers. Problem will be solved, had mine this way since I first bought my vibrant from the first groupbuy.

    Timing belt problems

Ah, I see, good to know. For some reason I always thought it was interference and when I did my build I treated it as though it was. By doing that, I got it right the first time though, lol.

Quick Question: Unichip with Forged Engine?

Yes you can. I'm doing it right now. Still running stock turbo & injectors though. The preloaded tune is not perfect, due to the 8.5:1 compression and all the mods on my car, but it's decent. Soon I will be making attempts to have it tuned for the GT28rs and 560cc injectors I have sitting at the...

    knocking noise...HELP

That's possible, but chances are your going to need a shortblock new or rebuild yours. Also, if it's the head gasket, don't forget to get at least the head planed/machined so the mating surface is nice and flat. Our heads are aluminum so they do not react well to blown head gaskets.

    Shreak at Startup?

Check your exhaust manifold bolts. I've heard loose mani bolts cause a shreiking noise.
