I like it! Though I'm not so adventurous to try this in case we sell in the near future (who checks nowadays any hoo?) Care to post a video with the sounds while driving, windows up and down? Jb4 makes decent stuff it looks like .. they have an intake for the M3T though, not for the CX's.

Feel your pain... Took a work trip and came back to find front end damage on the car... The fog light was done for etc. Luckily I was able to get a shop to do some work... Bought a new fog and it looks much better to the point that I forgot about it till reading this... Not sure if I was more...

Very true. With me, I had two sets of tires on two sets of rims with the same result (heavy vibrations at any speed above 80kms/hr). Had both sets of tires and rims (one winter one summer, both new) balanced using the road force with vibrations still present and marginally better... Saw another...

No we still have the CX but also the VW.. was just trying to say the kid only got sick in the CX not there VW.. the issue with the vibrations is completely resolved after both rear CV shafts were changed by the dealer .

My CX9 GT had similar vibration issues. Turned out to be somewhat of the tire flatspotting at times. Similar issue with my winter tires (x-ice) on different rims... It ended up being the rear CV shafts after the dealer finally agreed to change it... Much smoother... Seems like Mazda has issues...

I had this problem as well. Turned out to be the rear CV shafts needed to be replaced. Read the entire thread on vibrations issues...

It'll be cheaper for them to just change the two rear CVs than fly Buddy boy down and put him up in a hotel for two days....

That's terrible man-- sorry you're going through this. Have you tried all the above recommendations on this thread with no success? If you know for sure it's not the tire or rim, which is more vehicle specific, then ask them to replace the rear CV shafts--both! My 2018 cx9 GT has such bad...

It's an issue from factory for sure. I recall another member saying their mechanic saw extra play in the rear axle where the two CVs mount to but I can't confirm for sure. I'd ask them to change the rear cv's and start there before it's too late and you can't return it etc
