I bought one from AMAZON and it fit perfectly and works very well. I'm not sure if it is the one you show but, if it doesn't work well, just return it. Ed

Are you observing this "puff-of-air" with the intake filter system apart i.e. no filter and cover? If so, then I see no issue at all. The intake is a system designed to operate with all components in place and functioning.

Your owner's manual will list those items that the MAZDA factory suggest you do.

I haven't seen any reference to this issue on this forum. You are talking about one engine then. Mine doesn't run rich. I think you must be trolling.

Something is incorrect if your engine is running rich according to a sensor readout.

You define "Pig rich" by what metric. UOA or guess or ?

As long as the level is between 1/2 to max, I am happy. A 5-quart jug accomplishes this level.
